Demons Dancing

"Demons Dancing" was a public solo performance of Jeremi Biziuk carried out within the in the Mountain's project and studio space. Its core is a performative action reshaping sounds amplified and mixed anew in order to create an experimental musical piece. The contextual interest of the artist while sculpting the soundscapes is the relation of the sound/noise texture to the body of the audience. The piece is accompanied by the artist's suit and a video projection, which shows an edited footage captured during various field-recording sessions. Paying attention to the bodily response the sound's recipients experience while being confronted with harsh, prolonged and trans-like barrage of sound, the artist is exhibiting a simultaneously monotonous and unexpectedly heavy sonic experience.
