Bermuda Open Studio
( ) in the mountain participated in the fourth edition of the Bermuda Open. Bermuda Open is a yearly open studio event in The Hague that showcases the studios of artists with contemporary practices. This year, Bermuda Open collaborated with the Tiny Art Gallery, who presented a curated selection of small objects echoing our practices at the entrance.
As our collective presentation, we displayed our thinking process for the second chapter of an ongoing collective project, How to Build a House, titled Windows and Doors. Our exchange took the form of a shared “diary”, which we presented on the wall. The final presentation of this project will take place in Cas-co, Leuven, concluding our collective residency at the same institution.

Simultaneously, we opened our studio spaces to show our individual practices. Works, works-in-progress, and traces of research were positioned throughout the space representing the members of the mountain, as well as our new resident Yannis Androulakis. It has also been the first opportunity to present the works of new mountain members, Sixin Zheng and Natsumi Sakai.
